SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Florida officials are preparing residents for the worst, as Hurricane Irma’s path is still uncertain on how it will affect the Sunshine State.
As Seminole County and city officials announce sandbag locations, shelters and evacuations that information will be updated in this story below.

Seminole County officials issued a curfew for residents that will be in effect beginning Sunday at 7 p.m. Officials said Monday morning that the curfew would be lifted at 11 a.m.
"During the curfew, persons are prohibited from being on public streets, highways, parks or other public places," according to a news release. "Restrictions will be enforced by all law enforcement agencies throughout the county."

Evacuation routes and announcements
Evacuation information will be posted here as it comes in.
A mandatory evacuation for mobile and manufactured homes was issued for noon Saturday, officials said. A voluntary evacuation was also put in place at noon for people living in low-lying areas of the county.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to find their evacuation zone and route by county determined by the Florida Division of Emergency management in case of evacuations.

County officials told News 6 there are six shelters that will open Saturday. Shelter locations will be posted here as they open. View a full list of shelter locations here.

*Both pet friendly shelters are near capacity, officials said. Any individuals who have special needs and a pet should go to Bentley Elementary School, emergency officials said. Residents who have a pet, but do not have special needs, should go to Lyman High School.
