Winn-Dixie recalls Country Fresh vegetable products

Grocery chain warns of listeria risk

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The parent company of grocery chain Winn-Dixie has issued a voluntary recall for certain produce products sold under the Country Fresh label.

Southeastern Grocers (SEG) says the recall is due to listeria concerns.

The list of recalled products is:

  • SEG Tri Pepper Dice – 3825911565 (6 oz. package)
  • SEG Stir Fry Vegetable - 3825911781 (10 oz. package)
  • SEG Fajita Blend - 3825911785 (12 oz. package)
  • SEG Vegetable Kabob – 3825911592 (23 oz. package)

The packages under the recall have a "sell by" date from Aug. 12 and Aug. 20.

SEG is asking customers to either throw the products away or return them for a full refund.

Along with Winn-Dixie, SEG owns BI-LO, Fresco y Mas and Harveys.
