ORLANDO, Fla. – A new highly themed thrill ride is coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2019, Universal Orlando Resort announced Monday.
Few details have been released about the ride, which will replace the Dragon Challenge.

"This ride is going to redefine the category and transport you to thrilling places, drawing you into even more exciting adventures within the wizarding world. It’s going to be the perfect addition to Hogsmeade," the theme park wrote in a blog post.
Theme park officials promise that the ride will take visitors deeper into J.K. Rowling's fantasy universe, and will include some of the most loved characters and creatures from the series.
The last day of operation for Dragon Challenge will be Sept. 4 then the ride will close permanently so the Universal Creative team and Warner Bros. can begin production on the upcoming attraction.
