ORLANDO, Fla. – It's no secret that moms have a difficult job, but now new research suggests that mothers are clocking in a lot of hours.
According to data from Welch's, the average mom works 98 hours per week when you account for her paid position and duties at home.
The study surveyed 2,000 women with children ages 5 to 12. It found that a typical day for a working mom starts at 6:23 a.m. and doesn't end until 8:31 p.m.
Four out of 10 moms surveyed said that their weeks feel like a never-ending series of tasks.
