LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – The 49th annual Mount Dora Arts Festival will transform the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora into an open-air gallery this weekend.
The festival will run Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Over 300 juried artists from across the country will showcase their talents in a diverse range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, jewelry and mixed media.
Some of the featured artists include Peggy Roberts, Chester Allen, and Dacota Maphis.

Beyond the visual feast, the festival promises a vibrant atmosphere with live music in Donnelly Park, delicious festival food, and refreshing cocktails and beverages available throughout the event.
Local shops will also be open, inviting visitors to explore the charming downtown district.
While there is no designated “kid zone,” face painters, henna artists, and balloon artists will be present to entertain younger visitors.
The festival is free to attend, with donation boxes located throughout the event to support the Mount Dora Center for the Arts, a nonprofit organization. ATMs will be available on-site, and some exhibitors accept credit cards.
While well-behaved pets are permitted, organizers encourage leaving pets at home for their comfort and crowd safety.
The festival is held on the streets of downtown Mount Dora, accessible by foot or wheelchair. Limited handicapped parking is available behind City Hall, with shuttles running from a designated lot at 900 Lincoln Ave.
