Here are some cool and affordable setup to glamp year-round in Florida, where you likely won’t have to sacrifice air conditioning or WiFi.
Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park
Camping is a popular activity at state or national parks. At Kissimmee Praire Preserve State Park, there’s a glamping option.
The description on the website reads, “Our glamping experience merges the tranquility of nature with the luxury of modern comforts, creating the perfect retreat for every kind of traveler.”
Outside, you’ve got your camping staples like a hammock and a fire pit. You won’t have to bother boiling water over a fire to make coffee. The Keurig has you covered.
Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo
Located in eastern Polk County, Westgate River Ranch invites guests to “get into glamping, Florida style”.
Skip pitching a tent and book and stay in one of their glamping tents that’s fully furnished.
It’s not often that you get to see a ceiling fan at the peak of a tent. It adds a nice touch.
If you choose to glamp at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont, you have a couple of options.
There’s a fully furnished bell tent or the off-grid eco-tent.
Both have a simple setup of sleep options. For the environmentally friendly glamp, the website description has it in full caps that the tent does not have A/C.
When was the last time you stepped foot in a treehouse?
At Treehouse Cabin Retreat in Dixie, Florida, you can unlock memories.
The loft-style lodging is a rustic cabin rental. The description on the website reads, “Trade the cellphone for a book on insect ID.”
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
If you really want to up the glamp, head to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
For the new cabins, Disney went more glamour than rustic.
Gone are the log cabins and in are the bright tones and modern amenities.
