WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Buffalo wings, the spicy and iconic bar snack, were created at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, in the 1960s.
This bar was also the spot for Lou Ross, known as Big Lou, when he played for the Buffalo Bills.

After playing three seasons in the NFL, Lou then started his culinary career with help from the Anchor Bar.
The owner of this historic eatery shared the original wing recipe with Lou so he could bring Buffalo to Central Florida.
Lou then started slinging wings from a food truck dubbed Big Lou’s Single Wing Express.
