ORLANDO, Fla. – Grocery chain H Mart is set to open its first Florida outpost in Orlando.
It will be located at 7501 W. Colonial Drive, according to the brand’s website. An opening date has not been revealed yet.
The largest East Asian supermarket chain in the U.S. opened its first shop in 1982 in New York. It has since grown to boast nearly 100 locations across the country.
Inside its stores, shoppers can find authentic Asian snacks, meats, produce and household items. It also offers a range of groceries that can be found at U.S. supermarkets, per its website.

What makes this chain different from other grocery stores is that it also has a food hall inside its shops.
For example, one of the tenants that will be in Orlando’s H Mart is South Korean-based Paris Baguette, a spokesperson told News 6.
“By placing its cafe inside H Mart, Paris Baguette capitalizes on both convenience and complementary customer interests, creating a win-win situation for both brands,” a spokesperson for Paris Baguette said in a prepared statement.
Paris Baguette has two locations in Central Florida and serves cakes, croissants, donuts, sandwiches and more.
News 6 first told you about H Mart’s expansion here in 2022, when the brand filed for permits in Orange County to redevelop the space that was previously a Super Target.
