Tucked away, only yards from Orlando International Airport, is B-52 Memorial Park. It is free to the public and open daily, housing a Boeing B-52D Stratofortress which was once assigned to a McCoy Air Force Base unit, the 306th Bomb Wing.
Its massive wingspan is impressive in real life and when looking at aerial maps, the lone plane sits near the north entrance to the airport off the Beachline Expressway.
The park is dedicated to USAF Strategic Air Command service members who were part of the local community from 1957 to 1974.
