FanDuel to lay off 55 Maitland workers

MAITLAND, Fla. – FanDuel, a daily fantasy sports website, will lay off 55 workers in its Maitland office in April.

The news comes less than a year after the company laid off workers from Zynga.

FanDuel and its competitors have been under fire by prosecutors who say the companies are a form of illegal gambling.
