Police release red-light camera video in Michelle Parker case

Sunday marked 2-year disappearance of Orlando woman

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police released red-light camera video showing what they say is the vehicle of Michelle Parker, who vanished two years ago in Central Florida.

Mike Moreschi, OPD investigator, said at a news conference on Monday that the video was withheld from the public for evidentiary purposes. The video shows Parker's Hummer at 8:55 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Vineland Avenue and Conroy Road, 3/4 of a mile from where her Hummer was discovered, according to Morsechi.

Moreschi said the Hummer, which has been identified as Parker's Hummer, is not following anyone, no one is following the car and her "Glow" stickers are not on the vehicle at that time.

"This is an important part of a timeline that we've had" he said, adding that he felt that Parker's disappearance was a "two-person crime."

Parker's mother, Yvonne Stewart, spoke at the news conference directly to Tammy Smith, Dale Smith Jr.'s mother. Dale Smith Jr. was named a suspect in Parker's disappearance but has not been charged.

Sunday marked the two year anniversary of the disappearance of  Parker, who vanished Nov. 17 after dropping off her 3-year-old twins at the house of her ex-fiancé, Smith Jr. Orlando police have named Smith as a suspect in Parker's disappearance, but he has not been charged with any crime.

Police are still asking anyone with information about her disappearance to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
