ORLANDO, Fla. – Local 6 traffic anchor Jessica Sanchez received great news from her doctors, who told her that she is now cancer-free.

Jessica was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in March 2013 and underwent chemotherapy. She credited a lot of her recovery to the overwhelming support she received, especially from her mother.

Jessica will return to work next week, although it's not yet been determined when she will be back on the air. Watch Local 6 News at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday for Matt Austin's interviews with Jessica.
Last month, Jessica talked about the importance of giving blood during the Local 6 blood drive.
