Woman sentenced for having sex in Sumter County pavilion

68-year-old violates probation, arrested on indecent exposure charges

THE VILLAGES, Fla. – Peggy Klemm, 68 will serve six months behind bars after police say she was caught having sex in public at the pavilion at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square.

Klemm stood before a judge Wednesday afternoon wiping a way tears and mouthing "I love you" to her husband of 50 years.

The indecent exposure and disorderly conduct charges were filed just four days after Klemm was given probation for reckless driving charges.

Meanwhile, the man she was caught having sex with, 49-year-old David Bobilya, of Summerfield, is also serving a six-month sentence on the same charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Local 6 talked to her husband, Frank Klemm, who says the mom of four and grandmother of 14 deserves a second chance. Peggy takes care of her husband, who lost his leg to cancer.

"She is a super woman as far as I'm concerned," Frank Klemm said. "And she deserves a second chance. That's all I have to say."

Klemm's attorney, Allan Kaye says this plea deal was in her best interest as she could have been punished with more than a year behind bars.

Klemm apologized before the court as she walked out. She is getting credit for time served and has 135 days left to her six-month sentence. Klemm will also have a few thousand dollars in legal fees.
