Police said the attack occurred at the RaceTrac gas station on Alafaya Woods Boulevard.
During the incident, the motorcyclist, who was wearing a face shield with a clown face painted on it, got into a verbal confrontation with a woman attempting to leave the parking lot, according to police.
"There are three men in clowns. People trying to rob people in masks," the caller told 911 dispatchers. "When I went around the corner where you pull out this man in a white clown outfit, face mask and there was two other ones on motorcycles."
Police said the group was driving recklessly in the parking lot and chasing the woman. Investigation later found that the motorcyclists were doing wheelies and burnouts and as victim was leaving parking lot, one of the three nearly hit her with the motorcycle and gave her the middle finger.
According to the report, the bikers blocked the woman from leaving in her vehicle and grabbed her side mirror. The woman told police she had to run a red light to get away from the motorcyclists.
Denise Landau told Local 6 she got an uneasy feeling when just a day after the incident she saw three men wearing clown masks less than five miles away while getting her car repaired.
"(They were) pulling out onto Tuskawilla Road, she said. "I saw three motorcycles pull in, one with masks on, clown masks. I said, 'These are the guys that terrorized the woman on Alafaya Trail.'"
But she was unable to get any tag numbers or other identification.
Police were able to identify two of the three individuals in the incident and sent the investigation to the state attorney's office to file charges against one for misdemeanor assault. The name of the individual was not released.
No arrests were made and no injuries were reported.
