Police say Lastevie Howard, 40, drove for about a half a mile after the crash, passing on a chance to return to the site of the wreck, which occurred last month on Clarke Road near Silver Star Road.

Ocoee police say the red-light camera video shows Howard's vehicle turning east onto Silver Star Road.

"The black SUV is observed passing various access roads and businesses, where Mr. Howard could have turned and easily return to the scene," police said in a news release.

Officials said Aubrey Clark, 10, suffered brain damage in the crash.  A 10-year-old boy riding a bike was also struck and suffered minor injuries.

Clark remains hospitalized at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando.

Aubrey's family posted on a Facebook page called "Aubrey's Angels" that she's showing signs of improvement.  In a written statement, her family said the results of a recent test show she does have blood flow to her brain.  Doctors are working to determine the extent of her injuries.

Howard was arrested on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of a crash.  He has since bonded out of jail.
