Man arrested in stabbing at Daytona Beach flea market

Austin Lowther faces several felony charges

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A man accused of stabbing a security guard at a Daytona Beach flea market turned himself in to police Wednesday night.

Investigators say Austin Lowther, 20, broke into a store Friday night, stealing several items before stabbing 36-year-old Jason Powell.

Powell was treated at a hospital and was later released.

Lowther faces several charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
