CHARLESTON – An Orlando City Soccer representative said the team is back safely in their hotel in Charleston after being evacuated Wednesday night.
The players had returned to their hotel after their win against the Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium.

Authorities said Wednesday night that a shooting took place at a historic black church in Charleston, where multiple fatalities were reported.
It's unclear what proximity the hotel is to the church where the shooting took place.
The soccer team's representative said the priority was making sure the team was safe.
"Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy," the team said in a Tweet Wednesday night.
