KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A Kissimmee elementary school custodian was arrested Wednesday on allegations of going to a 12-year-old student's home and performing a lewd act in her bedroom.
Kissimmee police said Jose Coello, 56, who works at Cypress Elementary School, was arrested on charges of obtaining access to a home with false pretenses, battery and lewd or lascivious conduct.

According to police, the girl recently alerted her parents about the incident, which police said occurred at the end of the last school year.
The girl said that Coello stopped by her home and told her he was there to check on her, according to police. Coello entered the home without being invited and went to her bedroom, police said.
According to police, Coello acted in an inappropriate manner in the room, and the girl yelled at him to leave the home.
Detectives interviewed Coello, who denied the accusations.
Coello was arrested and taken to the Osceola County Jail, where he was being held on no bond.
