ORLANDO, Fla. – Police responded to a call at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure after two contractors got into a fight.
The Orlando Police Department said that officers responded at 9:29 a.m. Friday to Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure in reference to a battery.
The two men involved in the altercation were contractors working at the theme park.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He was listed in critical condition, police said.
The suspect, identified by police as Fredrick Torres, 33, has been charged with attempted murder. Police said Torres was taken to Orange County Jail.
The incident is under investigation.
