MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A Penske moving truck overturned Friday afternoon on Florida's Turnpike, spilling out tons of shoes, WPLG reports.

Sky 10 was above the scene as two people were placed on stretchers and another woman was being checked out by paramedics.

A few bags of luggage were also on the ground.

The driver of the truck, Miguel Enrique Marquez, told Local 10 News that he was on his way to South Florida from New Orleans to deliver the donated shoes to a local organization that sells or donates the shoes to low-income families and refugees.

Marquez said he picked up four women, who asked him to give them a ride to the Sun Life Stadium area.

According to Marquez, he lost control of the truck on the exit ramp and the truck flipped over.

He said he suffered minor cuts in the crash. All four women were taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

"I thank God for this, you know what I mean, that nobody got hurt and I didn't hit no car behind me. I got blessed," Marquez said.

The exit ramp was closed down for several hours before authorities cleared the scene.
