Man dies of apparent drowning in hot tub Responders tried to resuscitate man No description found
DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. – Officer responded to Oceans 10 Condominium Friday after a 72-year-old man is discovered face down in the hot tub.
Daytona Beach Shores public safety officers said they arrived at 7:18 p.m. Friday to 2917 South Atlantic Ave. to the Oceans 10 Condominium and found Dana Chamberlin, 72, in the hot tub unresponsive.
Other residents said they had found Chamberlin face down in the water, but were unable to pull him out.
Officers tried to resuscitate Chamberlin and transported him to Halifax Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is conducted to find out if Chamberlin suffered a medical episode while in the hot tub.
