CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A roof was blown off a building in Cape Canaveral during a storm, and water got into the structure.
It happened Friday in the 7600 block of Orange Avenue.
Fire officials said the tar and gravel roof blew off the single-story four-plex.
The building's landlord hired a private contractor to install tarps, generators and fans to dry the area out.
Officials of Cape Canaveral emergency management and the city's building department were assessing the damage.
