Seven new non-travel-related Zika cases were confirmed in Florida on Tuesday, along with one travel-related case in Orange County.
The Florida Department of Health said six of the non-travel-related cases are in Miami Beach and one is in Miami-Dade County.
The Miami Beach cases were confirmed on Friday, but were being announced Tuesday due to Hurricane Hermine closing state offices.

The DOH said it believes ongoing transmission is happening within the small identified areas in Wynwood and Miami Beach.
