Westgate Resort's chief executive David Siegel is backing his longtime friend Donald Trump, and he thinks others should too.
"I believe you owe it to your future and to the future of your children to vote for Donald Trump for president," Siegel wrote in an email sent to Westgate employees on Monday.
Siegel thinks Trump will improve the economy, increase security and keep illegal immigrants out of the country.
"The most important thing he will do is help me end the terrible drug epidemic, which is killing thousands of our children each year," Siegel wrote.
Siegel's 18-year-old daughter Victoria died of a drug overdose last year.
In 2012, Siegel gained national attention for sending a similar email to employees that seemed to encourage them to vote for Mitt Romney. He warned that if Barack Obama was re-elected and new taxes were levied on his business he might have to lay off employees.
Despite Obama's victory, Siegel was actually able to expand his company following the last election.
Back in 2012 and again this year, Siegel specifically pointed out in his email that employees should vote for the candidate they think is best.
Siegel wasn't available for comment Tuesday, but a company spokesman reiterated that Siegel's biggest mission right now is battling the drug problem that took his daughter's life.
