Denny's employees, customer forced into cooler during Eustis robbery, police say

Manager forced at gunpoint to open safe

EUSTIS, Fla. – Eustis police are searching for three people who they said robbed a Denny’s restaurant at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Three people entered Denny’s at 16150 U.S. Hwy. 41 at 1:10 a.m. armed with handguns, police said.

The robbers, dressed in dark clothing, masks and gloves, forced employees and one customer into the cooler while a manager was forced to open the safe.

Police did not say how much was stolen from the safe.

No one was injured during the robbery.
