Disney employee accused of impersonating FBI agent on I-Drive

Man tries to pull woman over as Homeland Security agent, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Disney employee was arrested Saturday on suspicion of impersonating a FBI agent and trying to pull over a woman on I-Drive, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Brett Michael Smith, 26, who bought his "Department of Homeland Security" badge for Halloween, said he saw a women hit cones after she realized Seaworld's Aquatic was full. Smith then tried to pull the women over, according to the arrest report.

After the woman did not pull over, Smith then walked over to her car while at a red-light, flashed his prop-badge, and said he "worked for the FBI" and he's "over the police," according to authorities. The woman also told deputies that Smith had shouted profanity at her

After witnessing the ordeal, a nearby deputy turned his lights on and parked his car near Smith's and the woman's.

At first glance, the deputy said he also thought Smith's fake badge was real because it had his name and a microchip.

According to authorities, Smith said the reason he went over to talk to her was because someone needed tell her how to drive.

Smith was arrested on one count of falsely impersonating an officer.
