KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Two bodies were found in a Kissimmee home, according to officials with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said the bodies were those of a couple who lived in the home, but they have not released further details, including cause of death, as it remains a “very active investigation.”
"It’s shocking, because it’s such a quiet community," said neighbor Sandy Olivetto.
Neighbors said a couple in their mid- to late 60s lives at the home. They’re from New York and travel there often to visit their daughter.
"Someone from his family from up north, they called the sheriff and they said, ‘Go check on our family,’” said one neighbor, who asked not to be named.
“They were really good people,” said another neighbor, Maria Carro.
Though deputies aren’t releasing much information about the victims, one neighbor said something he saw Saturday night concerned him.
“There were two crime scene minivans parked over there,” the neighbor said.
“Yes, we want to know what happened to them -- if someone did it,” Carro said. “Right now, we just don’t know anything.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
