Over 70 jellyfish stings reported at Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Volusia County Beach Safety said it flew red and purple flags today at Daytona Beach. 

Authorities said they rescued 12 people from the ocean without any incident. 

They also said that there were over 70 jellyfish stings treated before 4 p.m. Sunday.
