ATLANTA – Estimated jackpots for Powerball and Mega Millions have respectively reached $412 million and $607 million ahead of their drawings this week, signaling that more than $1 billion in lottery winnings could soon be on its way to the nation’s luckiest player(s).
The next Powerball drawing is set for 11 p.m. Wednesday, while Mega Millions will draw again at 11 p.m. Friday, March 1.

Mega Millions’ last big winner was a Florida player who matched five in Tuesday’s drawing for a $1 million prize.
For Powerball’s last drawing on Monday, a player in New York matched five with a Power Play to score a $2 million prize.

The latest winning numbers for Mega Millions were 6, 18, 26, 27, 49 and 3x Megaplier 4. For Powerball, the numbers 24, 29, 42, 51, 54 and Powerball 16 were drawn last.
