ORLANDO, Fla. – A 57-year-old man who died after being involved in an Orange County crash early Thursday had been shot several times before wrecking his car, according to deputies.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Orlando police responded to a crash at 638 20th St. around midnight and found the driver, Michael Campbell, unresponsive.
Campbell was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center after it was determined that he had been shot, deputies said. Campbell was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.
Orlando police conducted an investigation and found two shell casings in front of 711 20th St., where it was determined that an original incident occurred, according to deputies.

"We just need to get some information about what happened. There's a lot of people who walk around here so someone must have seen or heard." Deputy Ingrid Tejada-Monforte said.
