VENICE, Fla. – A woman in Florida has quite the story to tell after getting an unwelcome surprise.
Mary Hollenback said she was sitting inside her Venice home watching TV when a nearly 8-foot gator came walking right into her kitchen.
“I had to have a picture of him because nobody would believe it otherwise,” she said.
She said the reptile was able to open a magnetic screen door and push its way inside.
After calling 911, deputies and wildlife workers were able to remove the gator and relocate him.
