TAVARES, Fla. – Lake County firefighters got to reunite with an old friend Wednesday at the Lake County Florida Animal Shelter.
Firefighters from stations 77 and 78 were at the Lake County Florida Animal Shelter to go over fire safety with the workers and volunteers when they spotted Melody.

Melody was one of 19 dogs that were recently saved from a house fire in Eustis.
Both Melody and her brother Morrison are available for adoption at the Lake County Florida Animal Shelter.
