Police say they’re investigating possibility of more victims

Argelio Pupo (Orange County Jail)

Due to the sensitive nature of the crime, News 6 is not detailing the allegations against 32-year-old Argelio Pupo.

Records show he was arrested by the Apopka Police Department earlier this month after the victim disclosed the sexual abuse to an adult.

He’s facing charges of capital sexual battery on a victim under 12 and aggravated child neglect.

Apopka police say they’re investigating the possibility that there could be more victims, which is standard procedure.

The Kissimmee Fire Department said Pupo has been placed on administrative leave without pay.
