A 7-year-old boy drowned in Ormond Beach on Saturday, according to Volusia County Beach Safety.
The boy was pulled from the water near the 1900 block north of Ormond Beach and was found unresponsive, authorities said.

The boy eventually was pronounced deceased at the hospital, authorities said.
The boy’s grandfather and grandmother were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
