OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County fire officials responded to flames at a metal salvage yard on Monday afternoon, according to a tweet from the department.
The fire closed US 17-92 and Old Tampa Highway for several hours on Monday, according to investigators.

The fire is fully extinguished, according to an update from investigators.
Firefighters ran water lines across the Campbell City roads where the flames broke out.
No one was injured in the fire.

UPDATE: Crews on scene have successfully knocked down the fire, and are mopping up hotspots. Closures continue on US17-92 and Old Tampa while we run water lines across those roads. Traffic is urged to seek alternate routes, and be cautious of first responders directing traffic.
