ORLANDO, Fla. – A 19-year-old woman who showed up at an Orlando hospital told police that she was shot in the head while driving, according to authorities.
Orlando police said the woman arrived at Orlando Regional Medical Center around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday with a non-life-threatening wound to her head.

The woman said she was driving on Conroy Road near Southgate Drive about an hour earlier when she head a loud “pop” and felt something hit her head, according to police.
Officials said officers responded to a call for service regarding possible gunshots in the same area late Monday but found nothing. It is not known if the two incidents are related.
Police said there is no current evidence that the victim was targeted.
There’s no information about possible culprits, police said.
