Christina Martin started Type Zero Foundation in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando native and diabetes advocate Christina Martin was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 13 years old.

Martin, who created the Type Zero Foundation to provide support for children dealing with a similar diagnosis, shares what it was like coping with the disease at a young age.
