VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 20-year-old man was likely bitten by a shark this weekend in Volusia County, beach officials say.
According to Volusia County Beach Safety, the Altamonte Springs man was bitten on his foot just after 3 p.m. Sunday.

The man was surfing in about 7 feet of water when he was bitten, officials said.
Rescuers said the man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
