ORLANDO, Fla. – AAA is offering its towing program this St. Patrick’s Day weekend as an option for drivers who have been drinking in celebration.
The auto group said the Tow to Go program will be available 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Monday as a last resort.

“Driving impaired doesn’t only endanger yourself, but risks the lives of all the adults and children you share the road with,” spokesman Mark Jenkins said in a release. “Although AAA is proud to provide this life-saving program, we urge people to identify a safe ride home before they party, and treat Tow to Go as their last resort.”
The program is free for AAA members and non-members for one person, including a ride for their vehicle to a safe location within a 10-mile radius.
“Appointments cannot be scheduled in advance to use Tow to Go. It is designed as a safety net for those that did not plan ahead. Always choose a designated driver before celebrating,” the group said.
For a tow, call 855-286-9246 if you need a safe ride.
