Police said Leandre Cox, 18, and Cedrick Bowie, 14, were with Foster prior to the shooting at 7 Days Food Store, 2002 NW 1st Ave.

Cox was seen on surveillance video reaching into the victim’s car and taking a backpack, records show. Investigators said McCullough took the backpack back and placed it inside the car again, prompting Cox to take out a gun and try to hit the victim with it.
