DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A 19-year-old Daytona Beach woman was arrested Thursday in connection to a shooting at a riverside apartment complex earlier that morning, police said.
In a parking lot at the Tzadik Bay Apartments on South Beach Street, Jayla Monet Fisher allegedly retrieved a gun while in a physical dispute with another woman — a 20-year-old Volusia County resident — and fired it at her several times, according to a news release.

Officers responded to the complex at 8:58 a.m., where they said the bullets Fisher fired missed the woman she was shooting at and instead struck two men, ages 19 and 78.
The men — both Volusia County residents — ended up at Halifax Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The 19-year-old was shot in the arm as he observed the fight from the parking lot, leaving the scene on his own and taking himself to the hospital, according to the release. The 78-year-old was struck in his torso while inside his residence at the complex, police said.
Fisher ran from the scene after the shooting and was taken into custody at her Acklins Circle residence about an hour later, police said.
She faces two felony charges of aggravated battery and one misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
Fisher was given a $300,000 bond at her first court appearance Friday morning, $150,000 for each aggravated battery charge.
