2 Central Florida men win $1M each on scratch-off game

A $50 scratch-off game recently paid off for two Central Florida men.

The “500X The Cash” Scratch-Off game produced two $1 million winners, the Florida Lottery announced Thursday.

Douglas Johnson of Orlando bought his winning ticket from the Circle K at 12914 E Colonial Dr. The 58-year-old man chose to receive his winnings in a lump-sum payment of $820,000, officials said.

59-year-old Richard Locklin of Deltona was the second lucky winner. He also chose the one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000, officials said, and had purchased his ticket from the Wawa at 4100 E Colonial Dr. in Orlando.

Both retailers will get a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.
