POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Davenport man was arrested Tuesday on accusations of sexual battery against a child, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Bernard Cooper, 39, had an active warrant issued by the Orlando Police Department, leading to his arrest, deputies said.

In a release, deputies said Cooper was the manager of a Davenport Denny’s restaurant and he was working at the restaurant at the time of the arrest.
Cooper was then taken to the Polk County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Orange County, the release shows.
News 6 has reached out to Orlando police for details on the investigation leading to Cooper’s arrest. This story will be updated once more information becomes available.
Cooper faces charges of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old, four counts of lewd molestation on a victim under 12 years old, possession of child pornography and four counts of lewd and lascivious conduct.
