BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Brevard Renaissance Fair is dancing back into the area for another year of fire acts, jousting and more.
The fair is returning to Wickham Park in Melbourne on Saturday through the first weekend in February.

The fair encompasses all types of entertainment, and new this year includes acts from Cirque du Sewer, who appeared on “America’s Got Talent” with trained rats and cats, and Clan Tynker Circus, a troupe of brothers and sisters performing a “Vaudeville” style of circus.
Each weekend will bring a different theme, adding a new flare to the fair:
- Jan. 7-8 - Pirate Weekend.
- Jan. 14-16 - Fantasy Weekend.
- Jan. 21-22 - Viking Weekend.
- Jan. 28-29 - Heroes of the Realm.
- Feb. 4-5 - Celtic Weekend.
There will also be a concert on every Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Musical Blades & The Bawdy Boys on Jan. 7
Since the turn of the century, a fearless band of misfit rogues has been terrorizing and delighting the Midwest with a unique blend of hilarity and harmonies. Since 2000, The Musical Blades have brought their unique brand of “renaissance rock show” to countless renaissance festivals and clubs across the United States.
With soaring harmonies, rocking mug-bangers, and side-splitting comedy, the Musical Blades have bring something for everyone. Offering a range of musical styles from pub chant-alongs, to rowdy folk-rock favorites and tear-jerking sea ballads, this pirate crew plunders the hearts of audiences wherever they go.
Sanctus with Star Shanties on Jan. 14
Four Tons of Carillon bells combine with a full symphonic metal band to create Sanctus. Featuring selections from bands like Evanescence, Nightwish, Snow White Blood, and Skillet, along with original heart pounding original selections, Sanctus will melt your faces with symphonic gothic metal. This concert is a different and expanded performance than Cast in Bronze which appears during the fair.
Albannach on Jan. 21
Albannach is Scots-Gaelic for “Scottish” or “Scotsman”. That’s exactly what they are. You will be blown away by the energy of their music. Celebrate our Viking Weekend with authentic pipes and drums to shake the whole town.
Celtic Nova & Black Velvet Band on Jan. 28
The majestic sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe soars above a powerful rock band, the masterly played violin expands the unique style with symphonic-epic melodies. Influences of Irish Folk, Symphonic Metal and Scottish tradition merge with the energetic Celtic Rock music, full of lust of life. This sound, as international as the musicians - hailing from Scotland, USA, Bulgaria and Austria - and the spectacular show guarantee a concert no one will ever forget. Fiery torches on the bagpipes and burning drumsticks, thundering against huge drums, create a captivating atmosphere; flames, shooting out of the instruments, entertain audiences worldwide.
Gaelic Storm on Feb. 4
Chart topping Celtic band: 7 times billboard #1 world music, on tour 200+ days a year for 20+ years! More fun than a barrel of drunken monkeys. It’s hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success, but that’s exactly what makes a true anomaly. This multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance, and as you can imagine, after two decades and over 2000 shows, it is a true force to be reckoned with.
