MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A man was arrested in Marion County on child porn charges after more than 220,000 printed images — over 2,000 pounds — were found in his home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Paul Zittel, 72, faces possession of child pornography charges.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were alerted in January to child sexual abuse material being uploaded to the internet from an address in Ocala.
Deputies learned Zittel lived there and executed a search warrant on Thursday. Sheriff’s officials said printed child abuse images were found in numerous boxes throughout the man’s bedroom and office.

The printed images weighed 2,600 pounds in total, according to deputies.
Zittel is being held on a $250,000 bond at the Marion County jail.
