MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday called on the public for tips in the March theft of a Jamaican cuisine food trailer in Ocala as investigators search for the “jerk” who did it.
According to a Facebook post, a man broke a gate’s lock to access where “The Jerk Bowl” was being stored — at 15 NW 40th Avenue in Ocala — with surveillance video showing him hooking up the trailer to a rented U-Haul and driving it away. Deputies said the theft happened on March 27, with the culprit arriving at 11:27 p.m. and leaving with the trailer by 11:45 p.m.
