ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando Surf Park is set to start development soon at 7902 Avalon Road, records show.
It is not known at this time when it will open to guests.

The venue will feature a wave pool, volleyball courts, tiki bars and a surf shop, a spokesperson for the developer of the park, Ocean Sports Development, said.
However, this wave pool will feature patented wave technology that will let surfers have options to either train, compete or surf recreationally.

The technology is completely solar powered, according to the company’s website. It can also produce an “artificial reef” effect.
The surf park is situated on roughly 43 acres of land, though there is space around it available for potential expansion, records show.
Ocean Sports Development Is a Coral Springs-based company, according to its Facebook page.
Meanwhile, this is not the brand’s entrance to Orlando. It also helped create the stadium-sized surf pool at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
