OCALA, Fla. – A man and a woman were injured after being shot through a front door of an apartment on Sunday evening, according to the Ocala Police Department.
Police said they responded to the Parkside Apartments located at 621 NW 2nd Street in reference to the shooting around 9:20 p.m.
According to a news release, multiple shots were fired through a front door at the apartment complex, striking the man and woman.

One victim had a tourniquet applied by officers and both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
No other details were released.
According to the release, detectives are actively investigating this incident.
