The new prices for stamps are set to go up by around 2% due to factors like inflation, USPS officials said in a release.

This is set to be the fifth round of price increases over the past few years. The changes come as part of USPS’s 10-year program dubbed “Delivering for America,” which seeks to recover from losses caused by its “previously defective pricing model.”

Stamp prices for letters weighing 1 ounce or less will increase to 68 cents beginning on Jan. 21, 2024.
