Large law enforcement presence in Seminole County as deputies seek ‘wanted subject’

Officers swarm area of Magnolia Street, Oak Avenue

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A large law enforcement presence was spotted Wednesday morning in a residential area just outside of Altamonte Springs.

Cruisers from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and Altamonte Springs Police Department could be seen gathered in the area of Magnolia Street and Oak Avenue, blocking traffic as even more officers grouped near the intersection of Cadillac and Continental courts.

According to the sheriff’s office, the agency was there to assist Eatonville police in making contact with a wanted subject.

Eatonville police told News 6 at the scene that the situation had been unfolding near Altamonte Springs since around 1:30 a.m., when an individual believed to be the subject was seen.

No other details have been shared at the time of this report.
